The City Life Outreach of Central MN Youth For Christ Midnight Basketball League Friday, November 21, 2008
The City Life Outreach of Central MN Youth For Christ is offering a Midnight Basketball League to youth in Central MN at the Whitney Center in St. Cloud. Hoop Time is for boys and girls 9th grade-19 years old. Identification is required. Hoop Time will meet at 8:30 – 11:30 p.m. on Fridays from November 21st – Feb. 20th. Cost is $35. The program will culminate with league championship game being played after St. John’s University Men’s Basketball game on Feb. 21st. All youth will receive a free ticket to the Johnnies game. The Granite City Train Show will be held National Guard Armory, 1710 Veteran’s Drive, St. Cloud, on Saturday, December 13. The show runs from 9am to 2:30pm. See operating model and toy train displays. Vendors will be selling and buying trains, accessories, books, videos, railroad collectibles & memorabilia, antique trains & toys, hobby items and more! Kids can build a wooden train layout or run a model train. There will be door prizes for visitors and vendors. Register to win a LIONEL Polar Express Train Set. Food and refreshments will be available. Admission is $4. Kids 12 and under free! Hobbyists wishing to display or run trains on their layout at the Granite City Train Show are invited to complete a layout display request.
