"THE MOST EXCITING,CHALLENGING AND SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIP OF ALL IS THE ONE YOU HAVE WITH YOURSELF. AND IF YOU FIND SOMEONE TO LOVE THE YOU YOU LOVE,WELL, THAT'S JUST FABULOUS."

Goooooood Morning St. Cloud!

My real name is Corey but everyone just calls me Wilson...yes, like the volleyball!

Instead of typing an entire paragraph of boring info about myself, I've decided to let you ask any questions of me that you like by sending an email to wilson@98country.com and I'll post my answers on the web! It's that easy :)

I'm sure that the first question will be about the Elvis photo, so I will get that out of the way. I have a bit of an obsession with Elvis Presley...no, I don't believe that he's still alive but he has been spotted a lot in Foley :) My obsession began when I was two yrs. old. I was flipping through a magazine with my dad and came across an Elvis photo and I fell in love.

Here's your E News Update for Monday  June 9, 2008:

Ed McMahon's manager says the former Tonight Show sidekick can blame his financial troubles on a long-time drinking problem. McMahon is in danger of losing his $6-million mansion, because he's behind $600,000 on his payments. He hasn't been able to work for 18 months after he broke his neck in a fall. Now, his manager says McMahon, who quit drinking ten years ago, probably neglected his finances all those years he was boozing it up. "You drink and you don't pay attention to your business affairs. He wasn't paying attention and probably got some bad advice," adding, "I'm hoping America will rally around him and somebody will have a great idea to make him a spokesman."

Bachelorette star Trista says she and her hubby Ryan are definitely staying married. "There is no validity to the rumors on the Internet insinuating that Ryan and I are divorcing...We are perfectly, 100% happy, and divorce has never been a topic of conversation and never will be," Trista tells the website MomLogic.com. It's a good thing, because the couple is in talks with Martha Stewart to get their own TV show. "The details are still being hashed out, but it has to do with fixing up houses," according to Life and Style magazine.

Shania Twain tells her fans she needs time to mend her “broken heart” after her marriage to “Mutt” Lange ended. In a posting on her website, she said “As I am sure you have seen or hear; I am going through a rough time personally in my life. I wanted you all to know that I could not be getting through this without you. Your letters, emails and words of encouragement give me strength.”

Wilson's Video of The Week:

Sometimes it's fun to look back, so I've decided to post a country music video of the past every week along with a little bit of info on the artist and video. So send me an email if there's an old video that you really want to see!

Ricky Van Shelton is the youngest of five siblings. He was born in Danville, Virginia in 1952. Van is actually his middle name and not part of his last name. Ricky started out singing gospel tunes and then fell in love with country music in his early teens. He began singing country music in his brothers band and eventually moved to Nashville with his then girlfriend, now wife, Bettye, in 1984. The two married in 1986, the same year that Ricky began recording.

His debut album titled Wild-Eyed Dream went platinum. In the early 1990’s, Shelton wrote a series of children’s books. The first book was titled, Tales From a Duck Named Quacker and the second was called Quacker Meets Mrs. Moo.

“I am a simple man” was released on the album Backroads in 1991 and became his ninth number one single. That same album went Platinum. In 1997, Shelton formed his own label entitled, RVS Records (Ricky’s initials) and has been retired from touring since May of 2006. Here’s a look at his previous life on tour with “I am a simple man”. Enjoy!
